(657) Gunlöd est un astéroïde de la ceinture principale découvert le par l'astronome allemand August Kopff à Heidelberg[3]. Sa désignation provisoire était 1908 BV.
Il est nommé en référence à Gunnlöð, fille de Suttung, gardienne de l'hydromel poétique dans la mythologie nordique[3].

657 Gunlöd is a dark background asteroid orbiting in the intermediate asteroid belt, approximately 43 kilometres (27 mi) in diameter. It was discovered on 23 January 1908, by astronomer August Kopff at the Heidelberg Observatory in southwest Germany.
