Its mass is 4.5 Earth masses, making it a Super-Earth. It takes 14 days to orbit its star, an orange star called Kepler-174, and is 0.1 AU from its star.
Its discovery was announced in 2014. It was discovered using the transit method.[1] It orbits the star Kepler-174 along with Kepler-174d, a potentially habitable planet.[1]
