Epsilon Cassiopeiae or ε Cassiopeiae, officially named Segin (/ˈsɛɡɪn/),[10][11] is a single[12] star in the northern constellation of Cassiopeia. With an apparent visual magnitude of 3.4,[2] this is one of the brightest stars in the constellation. The distance to this star has been determined directly using parallax measurements, yielding a value of around 460–430 light-years (140–130 parsecs) from the Sun.[1] It is drifting closer with a radial velocity of −8 km/s.[5]

Épsilon Cassiopeiae (ε Cas / ε Cassiopeiae) es un sistema estelar en la constelación de Casiopea. Se encuentra a aproximadamente 441 años luz de la Tierra. Tradicionalmente ha recibido el nombre de Segin. Uno de los nombres que la NASA asigna a esta estrella es Navi, en honor al astronauta Virgil Ivan "Gus" Grissom, uno de los tres astronautas que murieron en el accidente del Apolo 1.[1]
