Ню Де́вы (ν Virginis, ν Vir) — переменная звезда в созвездии Девы. Красный гигант (спектральный класс M1 IIIab) с видимой звёздной величиной 4,04m (видна невооружённым глазом). Находится на расстоянии 294 ± 5 световых лет от Солнца. Относится к полуправильным переменным звёздам типа SRB[9][10], видимый блеск меняется на 0,0125 звёздной величины[11]. Были выделены четыре периода изменений блеска, равные 11,1, 12,3, 16,8 и 23,7 суток[12].

Звезда массивнее Солнца всего в 1,6 раза, однако её диаметр в 54 раза больше солнечного, а светимость, ввиду значительно большей площади поверхности, в 631 раз больше солнечной светимости, несмотря на то, что эффективная температура поверхности ниже солнечной и составляет 4009 К[8].

Благодаря расположению вблизи небесного экватора, время от времени звезда затмевается Луной, что позволило измерить её диаметр методом покрытий[13].

ν Virginis, Latinized as Nu Virginis, is a single[9] star in the zodiac constellation of Virgo, located at the western tip of the classic constellation and nearly due south of the prominent star Denebola.[10] It is a red-hued star with an apparent visual magnitude of 4.04[2] and can be seen with the naked eye. Because the star lies near the ecliptic it is subject to occultations by the Moon.[11] Parallax measurements provide an estimated distance of around 294 light years from the Sun,[1] and it is drifting further away with a radial velocity of +50 km/s.[5]
