HD 111232 ist ein 96 Lichtjahre von der Erde entfernter Gelber Zwerg im Sternbild Fliege. Er besitzt eine scheinbare Helligkeit von 7,6 mag. Im Jahre 2004 wurde die Entdeckung eines diesen Stern umrundenden extrasolaren Planeten mittels der Radialgeschwindigkeitsmethode durch Mayor et al. publiziert. Der Begleiter trägt die systematische Bezeichnung HD 111232 b. Seine Umlaufperiode wurde zu 1143 ± 14 Tagen bestimmt und seine Mindestmasse zu 6,8 Jupitermassen.

HD 111232 is a star in the southern constellation of Musca. It is too faint to be visible with the naked eye, having an apparent visual magnitude of 7.59.[2] The distance to this star is 94.5 light years based on parallax.[1] It is drifting away from the Sun with a radial velocity of +104 km/s,[2] having come to within 14.1 light-years some 264,700 years ago.[8] The absolute magnitude of this star is 5.25,[2] indicating it would have been visible to the naked eye at that time.

HD 111232 (HIP 62534 / CPD-67 2079)[1] es una estrella en la constelación de Musca. Situada cerca del centro de la misma al este de α Muscae, sur de β Muscae y noroeste de δ Muscae,[2] tiene magnitud aparente +7,61, por lo que no es visible a simple vista. Se encuentra a 95 años luz de distancia del Sistema Solar. En 2004 se anunció el descubrimiento de un planeta extrasolar orbitando alrededor de esta estrella.
