14 Trianguli is a binary star located in the northern constellation Triangulum, with an apparent magnitude of 5.16 making it faintly visible to the naked eye under ideal conditions. The star is situated 433 light years[1] away but is approaching with a heliocentric radial velocity of −39.543 km/s.[7] It has a stellar classification of K5 III.[2][3][4][5] It has 1.926 times the mass of the Sun and 42.649 times the radius of the Sun.[2] It has an effective temperature of 3,957 K[10] and shines at 299.17 times the luminosity of the Sun from its photosphere.[8]

14 Trianguli is a single-lined spectroscopic binary with an orbital period of 17 years. The secondary star has not been detected visually or in the spectrum and is expected to be a low-mass red dwarf or white dwarf.[6]
