NGC 5371 is a face-on spiral galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici. NGC 5371 (which also seems to be known as NGC 5390) is a symmetrical face-on Sbc barred spiral galaxy at a distance of 100 million light years. This galaxy with Hickson Galaxy Group 68 makes up the Big Lick Galaxy Group.

NGC 5371 ist eine Balken-Spiralgalaxie vom Hubble-Typ SBbc mit aktivem Galaxienkern im Sternbild Jagdhunde. Sie ist schätzungsweise 118 Millionen Lichtjahre von der Milchstraße entfernt und hat einen Durchmesser von etwa 145.000 Lichtjahren. Sie ist Namensgeberin und die hellste Galaxie der NGC 5371-Gruppe (LGG 361). Im selben Himmelsareal befinden sich u. a. die Galaxien NGC 5353, NGC 5354, NGC 5355, NGC 5358.- [en] NGC 5371
